The version of these Terms & Conditions that will apply to your order is the version which is available on our Website at the time we accept you order.


Online orders

You must be at least 18 years of age to order and purchase Goods from our Website. Representations made by us via our Website do not constitute an offer to sell but an invitation to treat.

The reproduction of colours on our Website is as accurate as possible. However, you acknowledge and accept that the actual colour of a Good may vary from what is displayed on your monitor.

When you place an order, we will send you a confirmation email with the details of your order. That email is not an acceptance of your order. Orders are only accepted when we expressly notify you of our acceptance. We reserve the right to accept or decline, in whole or in part, any order placed by you.


Payment Method

We accept the following methods of payment: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and Paypal.

Full payment must be received by Past and Rail before good are picked up or dispatched. To remove showroom display products from sale, payment must be made in full. For factory orders, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to start production.



This Warranty is subject to the Australia Competition and Consumer Act 2010. The benefits provided in this Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, and any other laws in relation to the products in which Warranty relates.

The Warranty is given on the understanding that Pacific Green manufactures handmade products. Each piece is unique in appearance and no two pieces are the same.

All structural frames are guaranteed for 10 years. At any time within this period, Post and Rail will repair or replace, at its option, any Palmwood or steel part of the frame which the company determines is due to defective material or workmanship, which is not the result of normal wear and tear, nor a natural characteristic of the material used. We take care to only purchase quality componentry. Components sourced from other suppliers, such as leather, fabrics, foam, suspensions, springs, fasteners or fabrics are warranted against failure due to a manufacturing defect for a period of 12 months or otherwise in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty is non-transferable and requires presentation of the original receipt. It does not apply to goods that have been altered by the user in any way.


Returns and Refunds

All claims for returns and exchanges must be made within 7 days of receipt and must be returned in full original packaging and in the same condition they were received. If these conditions are not met, we cannot process your refund or exchange.

Freight charge is non-refundable for change of mind purchases. Unwanted items must be returned to the following address: Post And Rail P/L, U17/13-15 Baker St, Banksmeadow 2019.

Products that have been ordered specifically for a customer from the factory cannot be changed due to change of mind.


Changes to orders/cancellations

Orders can be changed or cancelled up to 24 hours after your order has been placed. Any changes made after this period may incur additional charges. Products placed with the factory are made-to-order. These orders will be transferred to the factory after 24 hours and cannot be changed after that period.


Display stock and clearance items

Display furniture is sold at a discounted price and is sold “as is”. These products may have minor superficial marks. Warehouse clearance items are sold with cosmetic defects and imperfections.


Pick up and delivery

Furniture is picked up by customers from the showroom or warehouse. Post and Rail can assist arranging delivery using third party couriers, which is at the risk of the customer



We reserve the right to charge you a reasonable fee for storage if you are unable to take delivery within 2 weeks of the date of purchase, or within 2 weeks of any Goods we have had manufactured for you being received into our warehouse. Storage also required that any balance payments be paid.
